The genealogy studies of the Bragaw family began with the articles written by H.R. Pitman and published by the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society.  In the early 1960's Elsie Foster published an exhaustive study titled "Our Brokaw - Bragaw Heritage."  (We share a common ancestor).  It contained over 4000 recorded names and over 800 pages of documentation.

I am attempting to complete an update to that study, however, it is limited to those with the surname "Bragaw".  This update is a work in progress that needs your support.  The family is scattered all over the country so it is not possible to retrieve public records held in hundreds of city, county and state locations.   In addition privacy constraints do not permit a very easy access.  You, however, can help:

The easiest way to send pictures, documents, or comments is to e-mail me at RBragaw@Bragaw.org.  If that does not work for you, you may write to me at:  Robert Bragaw

At present I am looking for information on the following family members.  If you know of someone who has information on these people or their descendents, please let me know.
Allen Cleveland Bragaw Thomas Ludlum Bragaw, IV
Roy F. Bragaw ● Adrian Clair Bragaw ● Ray Bragaw
